A consonant takes the vowel after it: se ሰ, su ሱ, si ሲ, sa ሳ, sie ሴ, s ስ, so ሶ; sWa ሷ. Capitals for T ጠ, C ጨ, P ጰ, S ጸ, H ሐ, N ኘ, Z ዠ. :: ends a sentence (።). An apostrophe keeps letters apart (s'h ስህ).
